We started of the day making sure B&B had enough fuel for the day. Pistachio's seemed like a good idea, but the boys picked an unorthodox location to eat them at. Once I took their picture, I couldn't very well tell them to get off the kitchen counter.
Our first destination was the Durham Museum to visit the Lincoln exhibition. This was my first trip to the Durham. The Lincoln exhibit was interesting, but I really liked seeing the passenger trains they have on display.
Our second stop was the zoo. We went through it in record time to try to finish seeing a few of our favorite things before it started raining. We didn't make it. We were all soaked by the time we got back to the van. Probably the best part of going to the zoo was seeing how Keli reacted to bats flying within inches of her head when we went through the jungle exhibit. I'm sure everyone in the exhibit heard her screaming. Good times!
