Ok.. I admit that I'm a gadget junky. I like technology. If I had a huge discretionary fund, I'm sure a large portion of it would get blown on useless gadgets like phones, mp3 players, computers, TVs (ok... bigger TVs), etc, etc.Now I admit that many gadgets sound cool and useful but end up being less than helpful in everyday life. Which brings me to the iRobot Looj. Cool right. A robot to clean your gutters.
Now, this got me thinking a bit because I just cleaned my gutters about a week ago (something I do maybe twice a year). It took me about 30 minutes to get out the ladder, hook up the hose, climb on the roof, and clean ALL my gutters out. So what EXACTLY does this robot save me. I guess the big savings is that my wallet will be lighter when I climb the ladder and I wont get my hands dirty. Who invented this thing? The iRobot vacuum can be usefull, but this thing is a joke. But that is jut my opinion.
Now an iRobot toilet plunger would be a different story.

A person who cleans gutters as a job would probably love this gadget! They would find it both useful and cost effective.

Good point. I didn't think about that situation.
That reminds me, I need to set you up with your own login so you don't have to post as me. Not that I mind. It gives everyone the false impression that I know how to spell. ;-)
