Thankful to be home

The EBC Guatemala team arrived back in Omaha on Tuesday night around 8:00. It was so nice to see our families again and lot's of hugs and kisses were exchanged in the first few minutes back in Omaha. Keli and I were ecstatic to see Ben, Brandon, and Keli's mom when we went down to the baggage claim area. I was almost in tears as I hugged my boys for the first time in over 8 days.

The last minute flight cancellation on Monday really highlighted how much we all missed our families. Most of us had expected to see them on Monday and waiting till Tuesday night was a real challenge. The last night Continental put us up in a very nice luxury hotel, but I think we would have all opted to go home if we were given the choice.

Keli and I would like to thank everyone that made this trip possible. Without your encouragement, prayer, and financial help it would not have been possible. God has truly blessed us with such a generous group of friends and family.

Here are a few pictures from our last three days in Guatemala.
