How YOU doin?

Oy... it's been a busy month and April is shaping up to be just a busy.  This weekend we will be celebrating Easter with my in-laws.  Next weekend is the Crank and Camp, which could get rained out if we get any typical April weather.  That's followed by a wedding, a Birthday party for B&B, and who knows what else I'm forgetting.  May looks to be just as busy with my bike race schedule taking up the majority of the weekends.  

That being said, it's been a good month.  We finished the basement project (I know I owe you pictures on that still).  The basement is SOOO much more comfortable and functional now.  We decluttered the house quite a bit, and it has made a big difference.  B&B now have their own rooms, which has been a huge blessing as they don't have anywhere near the same sleeping habits.  We had a new garage door installed which will earn us a tax credit next year.  And we were able to do all the above projects without going into debt.

Keli also started a new home school organization plan that is working very well.  I came home from work yesterday and was greeted by the sound of Keli reading to the boys.  I sat down and joined in listening to the story.  It was pretty cool to be able sit all snuggled up with the whole family in the living room.  Plus, I was able to unwind a bit before the boys switched into the "welcome home daddy" super hyper mode. ;-)  

Life is good, and even when life is a struggle, it's nice to KNOW that God is good, and that he has a plan and has everything under control (even if we don't always see it).
