I bet you'd still rip a quick race considering your current aerobic capacity and (former) form. But you're probably right - the potential of injury is not worth the risk.
That must have been exhilarating running 30 and change. I can only dream.
(Shrug)... twas fast once upon a time. I'll have to tell you about my 30:08 10k and running scared one of these days.
I love running, but running doesn't love my knees.
If a race worthy road bike falls out of the sky some day, I might try my hand at getting fast at road racing. There's this Bryan guy I'd like to beat someday. ;-)

4:51 mile pace over 6 miles? Good grief, man, that's freaky fast.
Are you running in the corporate cup?
I have not been running. My last run was about 2 miles last summer, and it just about crippled me.
One of these days I'll get back out there again.

You're a four-time All-American and you've managed to never mention that? Yikes.

Me? Personally, I think beating Sean is much more entertaining. Yeah ... Bryan's no fun. At all.
