I didn't ride at all Saturday, but on Sunday I got up at 6:00am to get some dirt miles in at Tranquility Park, in preparation for the race there next Saturday. After 3.5 laps, I loaded up the bike and drove home so I could get ready for church.
I talked to some biking friends at church and we arranged to ride later that afternoon to go get some ice cream at Culver's. Starting at 90th and Fort, we rode down to the Culver's in Bellevue for some frozen custard, then back. I tried to keep the pace up, but I just felt dead and couldn't seem to get the bike going. I think it was because B&B were in a trailer attached to my bike ("Faster dady! Faster!"). By the end of the ride I was toast.
So why does 1 + 1 = 10? One ride in the morning, plus one ride in the afternoon equals 10 hours of sleep. I went to bed at 10:00 and didn't roll out of bed this morning till 8:00. I was supposed to bike in this morning, but I'll count one of yesterday's rides for today and call it even. ;-)

Enjoying his ice cream to the maximum

That ice cream sure looks good. It's awful to have to be on a diet nearly all the time. Mom
