The "April Showers" are one day early. Oh well. I took the chance to sleep in a bit, instead of biking to work in a thunder storm.
B&B had a soccer game on Saturday. I didn't have the camera, so no pictures. Later that day B&B, Mark B, Kim P, and I all loaded up the van for a road trip out to Timber Lake to map out a bike route. We will be doing an organized 108 mile bike ride in July and we wanted to check out the stops and road conditions. We plan to ride about 54 miles each day with a stop at David City overnight. On the way out of town, we drove by an apartment building on 90th street north of Maple that was on fire. I'll try to post a picture of that when I get a chance. Luckily, nobody was hurt in that fire, but 90 people are without homes. Keep them in your prayers.
My sister also asked me to be the Godfather for their son Max. The service was Sunday and was followed by some excellent food at her place. All-in-all is was a relaxing weekend.
