BRAN: Day 0, Round 1

Well, we are on our way. By the time you read this I'll be on my way to BRAN 2007. First stop is Gordon, Nebraska. We will camp over night in Gordon, take part in the pre-race festivities, try to get some sleep, and head out bright and early in the morning. Official start time on Sunday will be 6:30AM.

Our support vehicle

The support and supported crew

The van belongs to Kim Palmer. Kim is a "Handy Man" and his motto is "No job is too small". So if you need some handy man work done, just give Kim a call at (402) 672-6252. Kim is the hardest working guy I know (accept my dad... but I'm biased). He is also great at cooking burgers on a grill, even with the 3 foot high flames.

The driver of our support vehicle is Tony Volk. Tony is a licensed Chiropractor. He was a huge help getting Kim Palmer fixed up, after he took a nasty spill on his new bike, while training for BRAN. If you need a Chiropractor, give Tony a call at (402) 397-0810. Now how's that for a good choice in support personnel when your doing a 449 mile bike ride across Nebraska.

And their off!
